Marquee Letters in Mississauga, Lit and on the Shelf

Start with the word, not the letters. The count is what moves everything else about a Mississauga booking, because the letters are priced one at a time and a four letter word is a different order from a nine letter one. The rest is stock: which characters we hold, what they look like switched on, and what they’ve stood in front of at other events. The question is inventory rather than styling. The range has been photographed in service across Mississauga rooms, so we can tell you what’s genuinely on the shelf, what each piece is, and where it has already worked.

Inside a Mississauga Marquee Letters Order

Our marquee letters with lights are $89 per letter plus delivery, and they stand four feet tall. That pricing model is the thing to understand before anything else, because it means the word you pick is the quote. LOVE is four characters. CONGRATULATIONS is fifteen, and it’s a different conversation.

Four feet is a useful height to picture. The letters sit at roughly chest height on an adult, which puts the bulbs below eye level and keeps them out of your guests’ faces in photographs. They’re free standing, so they don’t need a wall, and they go wherever the floor is flat.

A single lit marquee letter lying in the workshop beside an unlit blank, a dolly and a dust sheet

That’s the stock itself, lit beside its unlit neighbours. It’s worth seeing the difference, because the bulbs are what you’re paying for and an unlit letter in daylight is a plain white box.

The Range, Piece by Piece

Three pieces sit in this part of the catalogue and they do different jobs.

Marquee Letters with Lights are the classic custom style: the full alphabet, four feet tall, priced per character. Marquee Numbers are the same build for a date or an age, which is what most milestone birthdays and anniversaries want. The Marquee Block Letters Table is the variant that doubles as furniture, where the letters themselves carry a surface.

A 360 booth company arrangement sits naturally beside any of them, and that’s the most common pairing we deliver: the word behind the booth, the booth doing the photographing.

Backdrops the Letters Have Stood Against in Mississauga

The letters EMG lit against a bare concrete block wall, reflecting on polished concrete floor

Bare block, which sounds unpromising and works. The bulbs carry the whole image, the wall adds nothing and takes nothing away, and the reflection on a polished floor doubles the light for free. If your venue is an industrial space, this is the result.

The letters WTS lit on their base plates on a pale wood floor in front of floor to ceiling glazing at dusk

Glass is the opposite problem and the better photograph. At dusk the glazing goes dark and behaves like a mirror, so the letters double. In daylight the same wall washes them out completely, which is why the hour you switch them on matters more in a glass-walled Mississauga room than in a windowless one.

The letters RES lit in front of an awards step and repeat backdrop

And against a printed backdrop, where the letters have to compete. They hold up because they’re lit and the backdrop isn’t, which is the general rule: light wins. The same holds for a printed flower wall, and the letters sit in front of one happily.

The Rest of the Mississauga Marquee Rental Range

Three things change a letter order and none of them is the letters.

Delivery is quoted separately, which is the line hosts forget. The floor has to be flat, which rules out grass for a four foot piece. And the word has to fit the wall you’re putting it against, which is the one measurement worth taking yourself before you call us.

Mississauga Lit Letter Questions

What do lit letters cost in Mississauga?

They’re $89 per letter plus delivery, so the word decides the number. A four character word like LOVE is a very different order from a name or a long message, and that’s the first thing to settle. Delivery is quoted on top and depends on where the room is. If you send us the word and the venue when you enquire, you’ll get a figure back rather than a range, which is usually what people actually want.

How tall are the letters?

Four feet. That’s the published height for the classic custom marquee style and it’s the only dimension we quote, because it’s the one that affects your room. At that height the bulbs sit below eye level on a standing adult, so they light faces softly instead of glaring into them. It also means the letters stay legible from the back of a Mississauga banquet hall without dominating the head table.

Can we have numbers instead of letters?

You can, and for milestone birthdays and anniversaries it’s usually the better call. Marquee Numbers are built the same way as the letters and priced the same way, so a two digit age is a small order. Couples often run a date rather than a word, which photographs well beside a booth. Tell us the digits when you enquire and we’ll confirm availability for your Mississauga date.

Do you deliver to Brampton and Oakville?

We do. The letters go out throughout Ontario and Newfoundland, which covers the whole western GTA comfortably, and Brampton and Oakville are both routine runs for us. The practical difference between those rooms and a Mississauga one is rarely distance; it’s the floor and the access. Let us know if there are stairs or a lift between the door and the spot and we’ll plan the delivery around it.

What backdrop suits lit letters in a Mississauga room?

A dark one, almost always. The letters are the light source, so anything behind them that competes flattens the effect, which is why bare block and dusk glazing both work better than a bright wall. If you’d like something built behind them, a Toronto flower wall is the usual choice, and our Mississauga page has the rest of the stock.

Can the letters go outdoors?

They can, on a flat hard surface. Grass is the problem rather than the weather: a four foot free standing letter wants something level under it, and a lawn gives way under the base. A paved patio, a deck or a driveway all work. We’d want to know what’s overhead too, because the bulbs and the cabling prefer to stay dry.

Decide the Word, Then the Rest

Decide the word, then everything else follows from it. Send us the word, your date and the venue, and you’ll get a figure back with delivery in it. If the word’s longer than the wall, we’ll say so before you pay for letters that won’t fit.
